Barbecued Lamb Ribs with Smoky Barbecue Sauce
Introduction:
Nothing says summer like a classic barbecue, and these barbecued lamb ribs with smoky barbecue sauce are sure to be a hit! Tender, marinated lamb ribs are slow-cooked over a smoky barbecue fire, then coated in a lip-smacking sauce with a hint of garlic and chili. Serve with corn on the cob and potato salad for a complete meal.
Barbecued Lamb Ribs with Smoky Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients:
• 2 kg lamb ribs
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon chilli powder
• 2 teaspoons ground cumin
• 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
• 2 teaspoons sea salt
• 2 tablespoons brown sugar
• 1/4 cup tomato sauce
• 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
• 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
• 2 tablespoons molasses
Instructions:
1. Preheat your barbecue to medium-high heat (180°C).
2. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, salt and brown sugar. Mix until combined.
3. Rub the mixture onto the lamb ribs.
4. Place the ribs onto the preheated barbecue and cook for 45 minutes, turning every 10 minutes.
5. In a bowl, mix together the tomato sauce, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and molasses.
6. Brush the ribs with the sauce and cook for a further 10 minutes, or until the ribs are cooked through and the sauce is thick and sticky.
7. Serve the ribs with your choice of sides. Enjoy!
