Angus Rump with Creamy Horseradish Sauce

This recipe is a twist on a classic steak dinner. The Angus rump is cooked to perfection and served with a creamy horseradish sauce for an extra kick of flavor. The horseradish sauce is also great on potatoes or roasted vegetables. This recipe serves four people.

Ingredients:

• 1.5 kg Angus Rump Steak
• 2 tablespoons of olive oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons of butter
• 2 tablespoons of horseradish cream
• 2 tablespoons of sour cream
• 2 tablespoons of white wine
• Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 200°C.

2. Heat the olive oil in a large oven-proof skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Season the Angus rump steak with salt and pepper and add to the hot skillet.

4. Sear the steak on both sides until golden brown, about 2 minutes per side.

5. Add the garlic and butter to the skillet and cook for 1 minute.

6. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 12 minutes for medium-rare, or until desired doneness is reached.

7. Remove the steak from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes.

8. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, heat the horseradish cream, sour cream, and white wine until warm.

9. Slice the steak against the grain and serve with the creamy horseradish sauce. Enjoy!
